The Student Advocate /Customer Service Rep, responds to student needs via phone, email, text and chat. The Advocate will proactively take full ownership of the student's circumstance work to resolve an questions.
Responsible for handling a large amount of daily incoming calls and answering questions about the programs offered while providing excellent customer service.
Develop relationships and rapport with students, parents and alumni through verbal and written communication.
As needed, meet and answer questions of walk-in students through one-on-one visits.
Serve as event support staff at Graduation, once a year in June.
Represent the Texas Success Academy Community, by making prospective students aware of the opportunities they have for interaction with Instructors, our Student Advocacy.
Keep accurate and orderly documentation of all student communication verbal and written, as well as communication from parents and teachers.
Maintain the security and confidentiality of all student academic and financial records in accordance with FERPA laws.

- Commitment to the mission of Texas Success Academy
- High School Diploma from an accredited school, College Classes or an Associated Degree preferred (or job experience deemed appropriate by the Director of Schools)
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written; attention to detail a must
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, as well as above-average problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Must be professional, organized, and possess superb listening and discerning skills
- Ability to look at situations from several points of view; persuasive with details and facts
- Must take initiative, be highly motivated and committed to teamwork and collaboration across departments
- Strong desire to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to take on repetitive and high volume email and phone conversations with energy
- Previous customer service experience
- College classes in Communications, Business or Education helpful
M-R, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm CST required. May turn into M-F.
Ability to work beyond normal (Special Events)

Math Teacher Open
Work with students in grades 6th -12th grade and Adults 18 and up to earn credits that lead to graduation.
Support students in their coursework and communicate course and school requirements. This includes communicating via email and phone.
Effectively communicate with parents. This includes, but is not limited to:
Calling students and parents
Emailing students and parents
Returning phone calls/e-mails no longer than 24 hours after the initial contact
Collaborate with other teachers to support student achievement and student retention.
Collaborate with other instructional teachers in the same content area.
Attending all online meetings as scheduled. Meetings will be available two weeks for viewing. If it is a meeting where your feedback is required for improvement, we will schedule a time that is available for all to attend.
Other duties as assigned.

JOB STATEMENT: The Registrar administers the overall operations of the records office for 6th – 12th grade students for an online school. Evaluating incoming student records, official and unofficial transcripts and will manage all student records. Ensuring students are on the correct path for graduation.

In accordance with school policy, accreditation standards, and privacy laws, the registrar will maintain student academic records and academic credentials.
Performs all registration and transfer of student records.
Maintains student records and transcripts in middle and high school
Verify Enrollment for school districts.
Release authorized confidential information, and retains information in the student official record.
Evaluates, investigates, interpret course information to be entered into the student record.
Directs and coordinates registration activities.
Uses various software programs and web based programs to create and maintain student databases.
Advices teaching staff regarding grading procedures.
Directs preparation of student transcripts prepares commencement list.
Issues official transcripts to outside agencies under inflexible deadlines.
Monitors duties of secretarial assistants/temps assigned to registrar.
Enroll new students
Withdraws students and forwards records to other schools on request.
Gives information to parents relating to academic programs in the school.
Sends designated school year records; confidential, graduate, withdrawal, and health, to central record for storage in June of each year.
Bundles student records and uploads to transcript service.
Responds to court order subpoena for student records.
Verifies graduation to third parties via fax or email.
Performs related work as required
Provides back-up admissions support as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Education, Experience Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma with 3 to 5 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Months per Year: 12
Monday – Thursday plus occasional Friday during peak times and Saturday for Graduation in June
10:00 am to 4:00 pm (30 min lunch)
5.5 Hours per Day
22 Hours per Week min
